About Kolua Seiko
Kolua Seiko is an attorney currently practicing in Newport Beach, California. Over the past 20 years her law practice has been primarily serving Japanese clients in the area of immigration and business law.
Miss Seiko has written legal articles for several local Japanese magazines, presented in both English and Japanese at seminars and workshops for local and national organizations and written books on foreign student employment and American culture.
Drawing from these experiences, Miss Seiko developed My Beautiful English™ especially for the Japanese to acquire and enhance their English skills. Through her acute awareness of the aesthetic nature of the Japanese and the effect of cultural harmony that engenders a unique consciousness, Miss Seiko integrates these ideals with the delicate balance of self and community through a refreshing, holistic approach.
Extending her passion for advocacy Miss Seiko volunteers in several organizations including the Asian Pacific American Legal Center, Amnesty International and Zonta Club of Newport Harbor where she currently chairs the advocacy committee for District 9 which consists of five states. She is a member of the State Bar of California and a 2008 Remarkable Women honoree of the Orange County National Association of Women Business Owners.
